The RSJ Design Day Experience
Our RSJ Design Day service was created for the client who has a smaller project in mind or wants to put the finishing touches on a few spaces yet doesn’t need project management and ongoing assistance. We’ll work together to create a design plan you can easily implement on your own with confidence, knowing every detail was professionally selected with your lifestyle and design style in mind.
We start every project with a complimentary thirty minute call so we can learn more about your project and share about our design day process to make sure this smaller service is a good fit. If it’s a match, we’ll book your date and start preparing for your design day.
Phase One
DESIGN STYLE
During the design style phase, we’ll review your design questionnaire, inspiration images, and existing project images (if applicable) to understand your design style and lifestyle. The more information you share during this phase, the better!
Phase Two
DESIGN DAY
During your design day, which can take place in person or from a distance via zoom, we’ll be hands on in your home for part of the day and behind the scenes for the remainder of the day so we can make selections that will be perfect for your project.
Phase Three
DESIGN PLAN
Once we’ve pulled together all the details for your design, you’ll enjoy a digital presentation of your design plan with all the specific information you need to create a beautiful space. The design plan may include furniture layouts, material and finish selections, fixture recommendations, and furniture and accessory selections, from a variety of trade and retail sources to give you that curated and collected look.
Phase Four
DESIGN SUPPORT
Following your design plan, you’ll receive additional design support by email, as well as samples for any items sourced through Rebecca St. John Design. You’ll also receive reselections, if needed, for up to two items in the design plan so you can rest easy knowing you’re getting exactly what you love.
For items ordered through RSJD, we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

The investment for our Design Day services starts at $2,495. Our Design Day clients typically have furnishing budgets $50,000 or less.
